韓国製品は日本製品の分身に過ぎない。
ウォン安でも赤字拡大。
通常なら、自国通貨が安くなると輸出産業が潤うことはよく知られ
ている。
ところが円高ウォン安が続いたにもかかわらず、２００８年、韓国
の対日貿易赤字が３２０億ドルと２００７年の２９９億ドルを上回り、
過去最大を更新してしまった。
０８年は原材料価格の高騰などいくつかの理由が挙げられるが、
一番深刻な問題点は、韓国経済の対日依存度の異常なまでの高さで
ある。
よく韓国経済は 「鵜飼の鵜」 に例えられるが、これは韓国が日本
から基幹部品を購入して組み立て、世界中に輸出する様子を比喩し
たものなのだ。
韓国の基礎技術は非常に低レベルなため、高度な技術製品につ
いては、日本から購入せざるを得ない状況がずっと続いている。
つまり韓国がせっせと世界に輸出して稼げば稼ぐほど、日本が儲か
るという方程式が出来上がっているということである。
日本から高度な部品や素材を輸入すれば良いというわけだから、
逆にいえば日本の中小企業が強い理由もうなずけるだろう。
プレス機は、全て日本製。
中身のエンジンについても日本メーカーから輸入している。
韓国は日本のような高品質の部品や素材、資本財を作る技術がな
いため、高いから日本から買わない. . . というわけにはいかない。
結局のところ為替変動(円高)で高くなった部品を購入し、製品を出
荷する際に値段に反映させるのだから、どんなにウォン安が続いて
も、韓国製品の値段が下がることはないのである。
現在の状況は、韓国が世界で売り上げた金額の３～４割ほどが、
日本にライセンス料や部品代として持っていかれているという。
組み立て工場に過ぎないということだ。
こういった企業も日本からの輸入品だけでなく、工作機械も日本製
なのだ。一体どこの国の製品なのか疑ってしまうような感がある。
さらに最近の金融危機により、貿易量全体の縮小がこれからも続い
ていくと考えられる。
今年は死活問題に発展していくだろう。
ついに２度目のＩＭＦ入りを果たすことになるだろう。
