During a break, we decided to make some fun of Microsoft and dragged Linus over there. When we arrived there, Linus was sold immediately on the product as you can see in the picture. 米ZDNet.comのライターJason Perlow氏が、同僚からもらったと言ってヨドバシのパッケージ版「Windows 7」の売り場でポーズを決めるLinus Torvalds氏の写真を掲載している。Perlow氏はヨドバシのどの店舗で写真が撮影されたかわからないとしているが、まったく同じ写真をPicasaに投稿しているChrisという人物によると、「Japan Linux Symposium」のために来日した同氏を、周囲が面白がって会場の近くにあるヨドバシAkibaに連れ出したのだという。Chris氏によれば、ヨドバシAkibaの店員は相手が誰かを知らずに、Torvalds氏にWindows 7を売り込んでいたらしい。
